Price of gas down but the cost of living just went up

Well, I paid $1.94 this morning for regular unleaded with my .10 Kroger discount. That's good. But the cost of living just went up dramatically today. Starbuck's raised the price of a venti coffee to $2.00. I don't know why $1.95 was ok with me but $2.00 sticks in my craw big time. I'm going to have to get a part-time job, I guess.

LOL! I discovered the price increase at SBs this morning too! Price of one fuel goes down, so the price of another fuel goes up. Darn!

since i rarely treat myself to Starbucks i wont notice the diff in price.

i did however LOVE the fact that my car was completely on E this past Sunday and it only cost me $31 to fill it up as opposed to $50

We have Starbucks on our campus; they have different prices (shhh....I think they're discounted....) but I rarely go down there. I nearly got hooked on them again at the GRB a couple of weeks ago. I think they put drugs in their coffee!

I wish gas was that cheap in Arizona. You Texans must get an in-state discount. I guess I'm gonna have to drive to Houston to fill up. BTW - sorry about the Astros, I really did want to see them pass the Cards.

You should try England out for high living costs. I have to remortgage every time I go to Starbucks, and we pay about $7.42 per gallon at the moment (97p per litre)!!

Alaskans get about $1,100 per year for living there.

Texans get cheap gas.
