You know...just because the high for Sunday is forcasted to be in the mid-60's, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Think about it. If the high for the day occurs at 7 am, and temperatures start dropping soon after the start of the race, we could be down in the 40's by mile 15. See? Good news, right? Of course, the bad news with that scenario is that starting the race on the heels of an incoming cold front may mean some nasty winds and thunderstorms. But, hey, at least it would be cold!!!

Dear Vic I suggest wearing a pointed hat while keeping your head pointed into the wind to increase your aerodynamic efficency. I do not suggest dancing around rain drops, to many extra steps. Matt W........
Perhaps one of those time-trialing helmets used in the tour de France would suffice? Plus, you will get bonus style points!
Vic, you just stay focused and leave David and Matt to worry with those pointy hats. Freaks like us, we jus need a little bling and we're down with it dawg!!!

Yeah! I wanna see everybody's bling at the pasta loads! And I know Vic is out there searching the net for headgear as we speak :-)

My bling is the real thing and that makes me want to sing...got a nice ring for my 20th anniversary fing and a cool watch for my left wing... that gives me lots of zing and makes me feel like a king while my heart goes ping-a-ping-ping!
