Barbara, some of us have to work you know. Nevertheless, you are correct. The updated forecast is worthy of delaying my work on this multimillion dollar, enterprise-critical computer system to update my blog.
So, the trend continues. More and more reports are getting on board and agreeing that the cold front that was supposed to come in late, late on Sunday is coming in sooner than previously forecast. June's favorite, click2houston.com, was the first to report the change. The other two networks didn't seem to even have the cajones to post a forecast over 5 days out. This morning, weather.com for zip code 77008 is reporting cooler temps for Sunday as well. Forecasted temperatures for Sunday continue to drop through the morning and afternoon (when I'll still be running), with a high in the low 60's. Of course, a front blowing through on Sunday morning means a chance for rain, even thunderstorms. Personally, I don't mind the wet, it's the temps that I watch for.
By the way, great, funny comments on the last weather update!! I was LMBBO!!!
Now, back to saving lives!

Vic, you are too funny! By 9am, I've been in the office for at least a couple of hours and am ready for my first blog break of the day.
Someone asked me over lunch today if I had run this morning (yes). Someone else asked what time of the morning I ran, so I gave my standard "4:30" answer.
I guess it's been a while since anyone asked me that. I forgot how dumbfounded some people are when they hear people actually get up that time of the day - on purpose. Just to exercise.
I like to think of it as getting an early start on the weather report for the day...
Mario Gomez on 11 reported, last Saturday morning, that race day was probably going to be cool and a good chance of rain. Last year, he started mentioning the marathon weather guess about the same time.
I'll have to find someone to draft off of on Post Oak.
